CA Intermediate Registration 2020: Fees, Last Date and Process

ICAI has started the CA Intermediate Registration for May 2020 attempt. Eligible students can register themselves for CA Intermediate by filling online registration on ICAI website. After filling the registration form students need to submit it with some required documents to the regional office within 7 days of the date of online. 

Registration can be made through two schemes first is foundation route and second is direct entry route.

Eligibility Criteria for CA Inter May 2020 Registration

As we mentioned above that the registration of CA Intermediate can be made through two schemes (foundation route/ direct entry route). 

  1. The student who have cleared CA Foundation exams with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate of all the subjects.
  2. The student who has cleared the intermediate level of ICSI or ICAI. 
  3. Commerce stream student who have cleared graduation/ post graduation with a minimum of 55 % marks.
  4. Other stream students (Arts/ Science) who have cleared graduation/ post graduation with a minimum of 60 % marks.

ICAI CA Intermediate Registration Process

You can register yourself for May 2020 by following these steps – 

Step1: First visit the official website of ICAI. 

Step 2: Now click “Students” tab and then click on “Course Registration Form”.

Step 3: After this, you need to click on “Click Here” (in front of “Intermediate Course Registration Form”).

Step 4: If you are an existing user then enter your ID and password here or If you are a new user then click on “Click here”.

Step 5: Now enter some basic details like your Name, DOB, Gender, Mobile number, etc. Now click on “Register”.

Step 6: After filling basic details an OTP will be sent to your mobile number.

Step 7: Enter OTP and click on “Submit”, in case if didn’t get OTP then you need to click on “Resend New OTP”.

Step 8: Now again log in using your ID and password.

Step 9: After successfully logging you need to fill some other required details like your parent’s name, your address, pin code, city, nationality, etc.

Step 10: After this, you need to upload a scanned copy of your passport size photograph, school/college leaving certificate and signature. 

Step 11: Now click on “Save” button.

Step 12: After this made payment of ICAI Intermediate registration fees using Debit or Credit card.

After making payment of registration fees system will generate a registration form. You need to submit this form to the regional office within 7 days of the date of online along with required documents.

Documents required for Registration 

Documents which is required for CA Intermediate registration is mentioned below – 

For Foundation Route Students:

  • A passport size photograph of candidate  (affix on the printout on the registration form)
  • Attested copy of 12th class mark sheet of the candidate issued by the respective board
  • if the student is a foreigner then he needs to submit attested copy of proof of nationality 
  • Attested copy of proof of nationality i.e. SC, OBC, etc

For Direct Entry Route Students:

  • A passport size photograph of candidate (affix on the printout on the registration form)
  • An attested copy of mark sheet of graduation/ post graduation or intermediate level of ICAI/ ICSI.
  • If the student is a foreigner then he needs to submit attested copy of proof of nationality 
  • Attested copy of proof of nationality i.e. SC, OBC, etc

How to Check CA Intermediate 2020 Registration Status? 

You can check the status of your registration by following these steps – 

  1. Visit ICAI website
  2. Now click on “e-Services” (you will find it on the top of the right side)
  3. Click on “Reprint letter”

This letter will show you your registration status. So should ICAI website regularly because this process takes 30 to 40 days to be updated.
