Well, It’s hard to discuss the top ten states in the world. Every country on the planet has something to offer–believe local cuisine, groundbreaking architecture, and much, much more. But beauty is a difficult thing to quantify, and that’s why we allow the World Economic Forum do a lot of the work for us.

Here are the top ten states which are most worth seeing in the lifetime.

India

India is a huge South Asian country with varied terrain — from Himalayan peaks into Indian Ocean shore — and history reaching back 5 millennia. From the north, Mughal Empire landmarks include Delhi’s Red Fort complex and gigantic Jama Masjid mosque, also Agra’s iconic Taj Mahal mausoleum. Pilgrims bathe in the Ganges in Varanasi, and Rishikesh is a yoga center and foundation for Himalayan trekking.

Lying off the north-western shore of the European mainland, the country comprises the island of Great Britain–a term also applied loosely to refer to the entire country–the north-eastern portion of the island of Ireland and several smaller islands.

The Kanji that constitute Japan’s name mean”sun origin”, and Japan is often called”Land of the Rising Sun”.

Fiji

Fiji, officially the Republic of Fiji, is an island nation in Melanesia in the South Pacific Ocean roughly 1,100 nautical miles northeast of New Zealand’s North Island. Its closest neighbors are Vanuatu to the west, New Caledonia to the southwest, New Zealand’s Kermadec Islands to the southeast, Tonga to the east, the Samoas and France’s Wallis and Futuna into the northeast, and Tuvalu to the north.
